Taekwondo

Outside of academics, I spend a lot of training taekwondo competitively. When I started in June 2016, I trained under Master Eun Ig Lee at Lee's U.S. Taekwondo and obtained my 1st Dan black belt in August 2018 before heading off to college. Since then, I have been training under Master Dan Chuang at both MIT Sport Taekwondo and CW Taekwondo at Boston.

Since becoming a black belt, I have been active on the collegiate scene, with my freshman year summarized below:

  • NCTA (National Collegiate Taekwondo Association)
    • Collegiate National Championships (Team Poomsae) - GOLD
    • Named NCTA All-American and Scholastic All-American
  • ECTC (Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference)
    • Poomsae - SILVER x1, BRONZE x3
    • Sparring - BRONZE x2

Below are some photos of me in my natural form :)
